AFL Betting

Australian Rules Football is quite simply Australia’s game. It isn’t played anywhere else in the world and it is as integral to our culture as a cold beer and a hot meat pie. We have always enjoyed betting on AFL but up until recently with the introduction of internet betting we have never had it so good.

Tigers Negative Progress

The Richmond Football Club is looking at a win-less season. The really bad news for their fans is that it couldn’t have happened at a worse time. The AFL is expanding with two new clubs coming into the competition and playing stocks will be pushed to the limit with close to a hundred new players needed to fill up playing lists. What this means is that the Tigers won’t get the advantages of picking up the cream of the crop - unlike Melbourne, Carlton and West Coast who had their pick when they were struggling in recent years.

Grand Final Day

Whether you’re an Aussie Rules or a Rugby League devotee Grand Final Day doesn’t get any better. It is the day on the calendar that tells us that winter is a distant memory, and that the spring racing carnival and a long hot summer are just around the corner. Most importantly thought there is one last game of footy to decide which team will have their name engraved on the Cup. Get your mates over, fire up the barbie and let the beer flow as this is one of the great Aussie traditions. Excited yet? It’s actually not that long away!

Magpies and Bulldogs Race to the Grand Final

Collingwood supporters could have been forgiven for packing up their bags and walking out of the MCG at quarter time against the Crows last Saturday night. They were ambushed by a team that was playing high on confidence and had a defence that was always going to make a miracle comeback very difficult. 888sport had the Pies as long as $7.00 in, in the run betting, and no one was getting in the queue to back them.
