Tigers return

For all golf fans this is the best time of year. Forget all the rest, the Masters is the one that counts the most and in just over a week the best golfers in the world will assemble at Augusta Georgia to battle it out for that elusive Green Jacket. Teeing off will be none other than Tiger Woods which makes this the most anticipated tournament in golfing history.

888sport already has a market up for the outright winner and there will be more markets to follow in the week leading up. There is plenty of value there and it is just a matter of jumping on the internet and putting on the right golf bet. After all there isn’t another sport that gives you a chance to bet on 100/1 chances that have a realistic chance.

Tiger is the favourite and is at $5.00. This seems very short but last year he would have started this tournament at $3.00 so this is a pretty good price for the best golfer in the world. He might be a little nervous when he tees off in his first round but once he gets back to what he does best…watch out. His arch enemy Phil Mickelson is at $10 and Ernie Eels is at $11 which I think is way too short for these two golfers. Reteif Goosen ($26), Camilo Villegas ($34), Sergio Garcia ($41) and Adam Scott ($67) have all been in good form this year and have the game and experience to represent tremendous value.

If you want to wave the flag for Canada then you might want to have a bet on Mike Weir our very own lefty who is no stranger to putting in good performances in Major tournaments. Weir is also at $67 and has as good a chance as most.
