The end of an era for the Canucks

Chris Zimmerman has resigned from his position with Canucks Sports and Entertainment. There are big changes ahead for the organisation and it is hoped that it will result in better performances on the ice. 888sport will be betting on the NHL in the upcoming season.

General Manager and Alternate Governor, Mike Gillis, is set to play a more prominent role in the organisation and has been named President. He will work hand in hand with Victor de Bonis who is currently the Chief Operating Officer. De Bonis will be responsible for the overall strategic direction of the company including broadcasting, marketing, sponsorship and ticket sales. He will also oversee finance, human resources and arena operations.

This is big change for the Canucks and one can only hope that the new administration can take the club to a new level of success on the ice.
