2010 Under19 Cricket World Cup

The 2010 Under 19 Cricket World Cup was the Under 19 Cricket World Cup’s eighth edition. The competition has been held once every two years since 1998. This latest edition had 16 participating teams that competed in a total of 44 matches from 15-30 January.

The teams included 10 ICC Full Members and 6 other teams who qualified for the tournament. It was originally scheduled to be held in Kenya, but it was moved to New Zealand by the International Cricket Council (ICC) after they determined that Kenya couldn’t complete the preparations to meet the deadline.

2010 Indian Premier League

The 2010 Indian Premier League, also known as the 2010 IPL or IPL 3, will be the league’s third season. It was established in 2007 by the Board of Control for Cricket in India. India will be hosting the competition, which will be held from 12 March to 25 April, 2010.

Twenty20

One of the popular forms of cricket that originated in the UK is called Twenty20, or T20. It was introduced as an inter-country sporting tournament by the England and Wales Cricket Board in 2003. A Twenty20 game requires two teams, both with a single inning. The two teams aim for a minimum of 20 overs for batting.

The England Cricket Team

The England cricket team represents Wales and England in cricket competitions. The team has been managed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) since 1 January 1997.

England, together with Australia, was among the first teams to be given Test status and full membership to the International Cricket Council (ICC). England competed in their first Twenty20 match on 13 June 2005, when it played against Australia.
