The Super 14 season is heading toward disaster for the Kiwi teams this year. We all knew that the Highlanders were going to struggle to make the finals but the other four were certainly expected to be at the top of the table. This is a crunch weekend for the Canes, the Chiefs and the Blues as losses could spell the beginning of the end for their season. The Canes take on the Crusaders at the Cake Tin on Friday night in the game of the round and this should be an absolutely classic matchup. The Chiefs should be too strong for the Highlanders even though they travel to a home game bringing the game to the scenic holiday town of Mt Maunganui. The Blues have another tough game against the Bulls and they will have to learn how to tackle to have any chance.
