Polish defender Jakub Kiwior has enjoyed quite a remarkable couple of years. He was making appearances in the Slovakian second tier as recently as 2020-21, and only joined Serie A’s Spezia in 2021.

Now part of the Arsenal squad, and a regular for Poland, Kiwior has been involved in some massive live betting encounters.

Preparing for his second international tournament, Kiwior is in line to start for Poland in Germany this summer.

He might have been no more than a squad player for Arsenal in 2023-24, but the experience of a title race will still have been beneficial as he prepares to feature in Euro 2024 predictions.

Highly regarded for his on-ball ability, Kiwior can influence the outcome of a match in possession as much as he can out of it.

How Much Is Jakub Kiwior Worth?

Estimations of Jakub Kiwior net worth are hard to come by. Kiwior has only been playing at an elite club for a short period of time, so his net worth is not as vast as some of his teammates.

Earning millions a year, however, Kiwior’s net worth is thought to be over £1 million.

His wages of £58,000 per week might not sound enormous by Premier League standards, but that still has Kiwior pocketing over a quarter of a million per month. It’s a higher wage than Luis Diaz, Yves Bissouma, and Alejandro Garnacho.

While not at the profile to be earning millions from endorsements, Kiwior will still have some individual sponsorship deals to boost his annual income.

He also wore adidas X Crazyfast+ in the 2023-24 Premier League season, meaning he likely had a lucrative deal with adidas.

Reported Salary

Jakub Kiwior is reportedly on £58,000 per week. That makes him the joint-204th highest-paid player in the Premier League with Everton’s Vitaly Mykolenko.

By modern standards, £58,000 per week is a relatively small salary for a first-team player at a Premier League club.

Kiwior earns less than Manor Solomon, Brandon Williams, Danny Welbeck, and Jefferson Lerma. Of first-team regulars, Emile Smith Rowe, Albert Sambi Lokonga, and Fabio Vieira are the only Arsenal players on a lower weekly wage than Kiwior.

Does Jakub Kiwior Have A Wife?

Jakub Kiwior married Claudia Kowalczyk in 2023. Kowalczyk goes by the nickname ‘Queen of Twerking’, as she competes in twerking tournaments around the world.

This unusual nickname has not been overlooked by football fans and sports media. Kiwior’s then-girlfriend was the subject of numerous articles when he arrived in the Premier League from Serie A.

She has 80,000 followers on Instagram, and posts frequently.

Move To Arsenal

Arsenal signed Jakub Kiwior for roughly £20 million from Spezia in the 2023 January transfer window.

This remains Spezia’s biggest ever sale. At the time, it was over double the biggest fee they had ever received. The Italian club have never spent more than £4.5 million on a player.

After joining Spezia in 2021, Kiwior established himself as a regular starter in Serie A and earned his first international cap with Poland. His performances attracted attention from around Europe under the leadership of former Italy midfielder Thiago Motta.

Edu, Arsenal’s sporting director, spoke after the signing.

“We’re delighted to have completed the signing of Jakub Kiwior. He’s a young talent who we’ve been monitoring for a while now. We are now all looking forward to working with Jakub and seeing his continued development with us. We welcome Jakub to Arsenal.”

Mikel Arteta added, “It’s great that Jakub is joining us. He’s a young versatile defender who has shown huge potential and qualities with Spezia in Serie A, and also at international level with Poland.

“Jakub is a player who will give us strength and quality to our defensive unit. We welcome Jakub and his family to Arsenal and look forward to working with him.”

What Is Jakub Kiwior's Market Value?

When Arsenal paid around £20 million for Jakub Kiwior, transfermarkt’s market value projected this to be a considerable overpay.

Since then, however, his market value has increased dramatically, climbing to almost £30 million by the end of May 2024.

As of June 6th 2024, there are 37 Premier League defenders with a higher market value than Kiwior, including Max Kilman, Ilya Zabarnyi, Diogo Dalot, and Ezri Konsa.

There are five Premier League defenders with a market value over double Kiwior’s mark.
