From a World Cup winner, Invincible, and Arsenal’s greatest ever player, Thierry Henry turned his hand to coaching and management. The Frenchman’s managerial career appears to have faded, with his attention turning to media commitments with Sky Sports and CBS.

Arguably the best player to have ever played in the Premier League, Henry was often among the sports betting favourites for the Ballon d’Or during his peak. He’s adored by Arsenal fans, respected in Barcelona, and remains a voice of authority on football worldwide.

Net Worth

The consensus is Thierry Henry’s net worth is around £100 million. Henry’s salary in his playing days was high, even if it wasn’t in the same realm as modern-day superstars.

Since hanging up his boots, Henry has landed lucrative gigs with Sky Sports and CBS. According to various outlets, Henry is earning £4 million per year from Sky. His CBS salary is less commonly reported, but it’s going to be a sizeable number.

During his playing career, the Frenchman bolstered his income with endorsement deals. A long-time Nike athlete, Henry also promoted Renault, EA Sports, and Gillette.

Wife

Theirry Henry does not have a wife. He was married to Claire Merry, but the couple divorced in 2008 with Merry receiving a settlement in the region of £10 million.

Since 2011, Henry has been in a relationship with Bosnian model Andrea Rajačić. The couple have three children together.

Monday Night Football

Henry has made several appearances on Monday Night Football. Presented by David Jones, the show features prolonged analysis of the weekend’s matches before turning to the live action.

In January 2026, Henry singled out Bruno Fernandes for praise after his performance in the Manchester derby.

Henry said, “He doesn’t just pass the ball for the sake of passing it, this guy thinks. He made that happen. Yes, I know people will say, ‘it’s easy’ – it is not easy.”

With more time to debate and breakdown games, Henry is able to showcase his analytical skills, which aren’t always on show in smaller windows before and after matches.

Como

Henry became an investor and minority shareholder in Italian club Como in 2022. Cesc Fàbregas, a former teammate of Henry, became Como’s interim manager a matter of months after Henry’s investment and took the full-time job in 2024.

Upon his involvement in the club being announced, Henry said, “I have been waiting to get involved in a project like Como for a long time. A club with ambition but most importantly one that holds the same values as me – that the club and its local community both need to thrive.”

“For me, a football club is nothing without its local community. Yet so many times you see commercial objectives overtake and break that special connection and the heart of the club is lost.

“When I spoke to the team here and they told me about the community initiatives already in place and the ambition to ensure that as the club prospers so does the community, I knew this was the perfect opportunity for me.”

Henry was a world star when Fàbregas was making his name at Arsenal. They have remained close. Fàbregas spoke about how Henry supports him at the club.

“I know Thierry and, even if he wasn’t [a shareholder], I would speak to him, and I would ask questions if I had to, you know?

“He’s a guy that always helps you when he’s asked. If not, he always tries to stay quite out of the focus. But he’s a guy that really I trust a lot that he always helped me. He helped me already when I was a very young player, when I went to Arsenal.

“I consider him a friend and it’s always nice to have him around.”
